Channel 4 series to look at Gretna Green weddings

The renowned wedding destination of Gretna Green is to be the focus of a new series for Channel 4.

Wedding Town will follow brides and grooms who have chosen to marry or renew their vows in the town over one summer. The ups and downs of each couple’s big day will be captured from the drama of the wedding planning to the romance of each ceremony.

Set in the wedding capital of Europe, Wedding Town, will be a warm and entertaining look at those who choose to marry here and the people working behind the scenes to make each ceremony special. – Channel 4

The 15 part series will be produced by Firecracker Films and will air in the broadcaster’s daytime schedule.
