Alex Polizzi to present Italian Islands for Channel 5
Following the success of Alex Polizzi’s Secret Italy, Channel 5 has commissioned Alex Polizzi’s Italian Islands as well as a new series of ever-popular The Hotel Inspector.
The four part Italian series will see Alex return to her roots once more, delving into the culture, cuisine and history of some of Italy’s most beautiful islands. The series will embrace Alex’s lifelong love of Italy, providing a personal and revealing guide to this beautiful Mediterranean country.
Alex will visit the beautiful island of Sardinia, glamourous Capri, Ischia, and the Aeolian Islands. The final stop of the tour will see Alex explore Sicily from north to south, experiencing its festivals, learning about its past and listening to the stories of locals.

Channel 5 has also ordered a 12th series of The Hotel Inspector. Both programmes are to be produced by TwoFour for the network.
