Character returning to Gossip Girl

 

Actor Desmond Harrington has confirmed he’ll be reprising his Gossip Girl character of Jack Bass.

 

Desmond Harrington has confirmed to TV Guide that he’ll be returning to Gossip Girl during the teen-dramas third series. The actor will reprise his role of Jack Bass, uncle to Chuck Bass. Jack was last seen during the show’s second series after failing to hold onto Bass Industries and being out witted by Chuck and Lilly. In revenge for being ousted from Bass Industries Jack tried to attack Lilly but Chuck managed to save her in time.

The actor revealed that he won’t appear in the show’s third series until its latter half and also didn’t know the details of his return storyline as yet. The third series of the drama launched stateside last week and ITV has revealed it’ll begin airing the third series on ITV2 from October meaning the gap between US and UK broadcast will be down to just weeks.
