Channel 5 to air special Neighbours documentary

Channel 5 will air a special Neighbours documentary telling the story of the competition to find a new actress.

Earlier this year Channel 5 launched a search to find an actress to play new character Poppy Rogers. Hopefuls had to upload a video showcasing what they had to offer. The two finalists were flown out to Australia, where it was down to Neighbours executive producer Susan Bower to reveal the winner.

Over 1,600 entered, but just one made it, Gabriella Darlington. You can catch how it all unfolded, exclusive behind the scene action and contributions from some of the current Neighbours cast in a special documentary to be shown in November.
