Susan Boyle pulls in high audience for ‘Life Stories’
A peak of 8 million viewers tuned into ITV 1 last night to see Susan Boyle discuss openly for the first time her phenomenal rise to global stardom.
Susan Boyle rose to fame in 2009 after auditioning for Britain’s Got Talent. Singing ‘I Dreamed A Dream’ the lady from Blackburn, Scotland swept away the doubters in the crowd and at home as the voice lifted a nation. Speaking to Piers Morgan last night she spoke about her rise to fame, and her audition which hit YouTube just hours after airing making her into a world wide star.
Piers Morgan’s Life Stories attracted 6.7 million viewers to ITV 1 last night, peaking at 8 million viewers. Boyle spoke about the bullying that she had endured throughout her years, and being admitted to The Priory after losing out to Diversity in the Britain’s Got Talent final last year. It is thought to be the second highest Life Stories episode so far.
