Andrea Evans returning to The Bold and the Beautiful

 

Soap veteran Andrea Evans is to return to the CBS soap The Bold and the Beautiful.

The actress is to reprise her role of Tawny Moore, the mother of Amber Moore (Adrienne Frantz). Evans last played the role of Tawny in The Bold and the Beautiful ten years ago but has played the role more recently on its sister soap, The Young and the Restless. Earlier this year Evans reprised Tawny in The Young and the Restless in a one-off appearance as Amber left that soap to cross back over to The Bold and the Beautiful.

Andrea Evans is no stranger to the world of soaps having clocked up appearances in several over the years. In the early 1980s she appeared on the ABC soap One Life to Live as Tina Lord but left and joined the cast of The Young and the Restless but not as Tawny but as Patty Williams instead. In the late 1980s Evans reprised her role of Tina Lord on One Life to Live. After leaving The Bold and the Beautiful in 2000 Evans joined the cast of NBC’s supernatural soap Passions playing Rebecca Hotchkiss for two years. In 2008 she once again return to One Life to Live to reprise her role of Tina as part of the ABC’s soap 40th anniversary.

Evans is set to reprise her role of Tawny for four episodes starting in late December.
