Second series launch of Misfits attracts over 1 million viewers to E4

The second series of the BAFTA award winning drama Misfits returned to E4 last night with a big following.

Misfits attracted 1.1million viewers to digital channel E4 last night after a year away. The first series followed the main teenage characters as each one discovered they had special super powers. The return of the second series, which has been heavily promoted, has instantly seen an increase from last years finale, with an extra 400,000 tuning in last night on E4 and E4+1.

 

The first episode of the first series last November launched with 780,000 viewers. Misfits continues Thursday’s on E4 at 10.00pm
