BBC loses out on exclusive rights to US Masters
The BBC will be sharing the US Masters golf coverage with Sky Sports, after losing the battle to obtain exclusive rights coverage.
Coverage will be split between the BBC and subscription Sky Sports channels. The BBC has retained the radio and online coverage rights. The BBC have been broadcasting the Masters, the prestigious golf tournament since 1986.
Sky currently have the rights to the Ryder Cup, which they will be showing in 3D when their new 3D channel launches on the 1st October.
