The BBC has ordered two further instalments of Rock & Chips according to a tabloid report. According to The Sun two further hour-long specials of Rock & Chips have been ordered by the BBC to air at Christmas with the second one at Easter 2011. Rock & Chips aired on BBC One earlier this year to 7.5 million viewers and starred Nicholas Lyndhurst and James Buckley. It was a prequel to the hugely popular sitcom Only Fools and Horses and was written by series creator John Sullivan – who also created the Only Fools spin-off series The Green Green Grass.
