Pauline Quirke – The ITV Years

As we reported in May, television actress Pauline Quirke is joining the cast of Emmerdale. The one time ATV Beasts and Shine On Harvey Moon star has just started recording episodes of the long running Yorkshire based soap. ATV takes a flick through some of her more well known work at ITV – going as far back as 1973!

Speaking of her first day, she said: “My first scene was in the village – that village is unbelievable. My mum absolutely loved Emmerdale and so to get on set and actually see that Woolpack, it was actually really emotional so I had a little cry. But then I pulled myself together!” Her scenes as Hazel – mum of gay regular Jackson – will air from August.
