10m tune in for latest ‘Enders

EastEnders continues to enjoy strong ratings as viewers stick with the soap as the investigation into who killed off one of its central characters continues.
The BBC One soap, which next month celebrates 25 years on air, was seen by 10.3m viewers at 7.30pm equating to a 43% share of the total available audience. At 10pm a repeat of the episode rated well for BBC Three  drawing 1.1m viewers a 5.1% share of the audience. The figures combined show that over 11m viewers once again watched the soap.
Over on ITV1, Emmerdale fell below the 8m mark but only just drawing 7.9m viewers (34.8%) for its episode at 7.00pm.
Earlier in the evening on Channel 4, Hollyoaks was seen by 1.2m viewers at 6.30pm while 1.5m tuned in for Neighbours on Five at 5.30pm before a further 1.1m stuck with the channel for Home and Away half an hour later.
