EastEnders car crash for Michelle Fowler

‘Chelle totalled cousin Ian’s chippy in tonight’s episode.

Earlier this week, Michelle’s niece Bex (Jasmine Armfield) put her aunt on the spot – publicly putting the question: “Have you been sleeping with my boyfriend?” to her.

The BBC One soap aired the fallout from Bex’s query tonight (28^th March) with Martin (James Bye) predictably losing his shit over his sister’s inappropriate involvement with Preston who had used his daughter. After punching Preston in the face, Martin disowned Michelle in emotional scenes between the siblings.  

However, the most dramatic bit of the episode came right at the very end after Michelle leapt into a car and tore off to the tube station to find Preston. Michelle – tanked up on booze and sleeping meds – soon lost control of the vehicle and an attempt to avoid hitting Preston saw her drive through Ian’s chip shop. 

With Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) putting in a shift at the takeaway outlet, and Kush Kazemi (Davood Ghadami) placing an order at the time of the incident, fans have been left to ponder the fate of all three characters.
