Alan Titchmarsh to front ITV Queen documentaries

Alan Titchmarsh is to front a series of programmes on ITV 1 to celebrate Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

Elizabeth: Queen, Wife, Mother takes a look at the remarkable life of the Queen from those who are closest to her. It will feature comments from Duke of Cambridge and Princess Anne along with never seen before images from the Royal private archive.

There will also be a two-part series ‘The Queen and I’ featuring the home movies of people across the nation who recorded the day they met Her Majesty. It was also announced today that ITV News at Ten anchor Julie Etchingham will be reunited with This Morning presenter Phillip Schofield to present live coverage of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations for ITV 1.
