Pixar developing Toy Story 4
Tom Hanks has revealed that Pixar is developing a fourth film in the Toy Story series.
The actor, who voices the character of Woody in the animated films, revealed that another sequel in the Toy Story series is being worked upon by film studio Pixar. The third film was released in 2010 – 11 years after the second Toy Story film was released in 1999. Fans will doubtless be hoping they won’t have to wait another 11 years for the next Toy Story film.
“I think they are trying to do another one. The spirit afoot is to make a fourth,…Whatever is going on at Pixar headquarters is a mystery to me. I’ll wait until they blow white smoke out of the chimney or whatever it is that says there’s another Toy Story coming down the pipe.” – Tom Hanks speaking to Magic
Toy Story 3 was a huge hit for Pixar and Disney taking over $1 billion at the box office so its hardly surprising a fourth film is already being planned. Lending their voice talents to the films, alongside Hanks, were Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Estelle Harris, Don Rickles and Wallace Shawn.
