NBC given White House Situation Room access

NBC have been given exclusive access to the Situation Room ahead of the anniversary of Osama bin Laden’s death.
Brian Williams interviewed President Obama from the Situation Room for the upcoming anniversary of bin Laden’s death next week. Rock Centre with Brian Williams will air the interview in full on 2 May.
Obama has been accused of using the death of bin Laden for political gain as he looks set to take on Republican candidate Mitt Romney in November.

Politico website noted that Wolf Blitzer, who hosts ‘The Situation Room’ on CNN was invited to the real Situation Room last year, but Obama added that no cameras were allowed due to security reasons.
