Tom Chambers quits Holby City

Holby City actor Tom Chambers has decided to quit the BBC medical drama.

Tom Chambers has decided to quit his role of Sam Strachan in the BBC medical drama. Chambers has played the character for two years and has been involved in several high profile storylines, such as his character’s battle with cancer. However, after two years in the role Chambers has decided to move onto new projects. He is currently a contestant on the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing.

Chambers will remain onscreen as Sam Strachan until Christmas when he’ll bow out in a ‘major’ storyline.
