‘Emmerdale Farm’ Up For Grabs
The original farmhouse as seen in Yorkshire Television’s Emmerdale has been put up for sale with an asking price of over one million!

Emmerdale Farm fan-site reports that the Fine and Country property agents are overseeing the former farms sale. Lindley Farm, near Otley, was renovated in the mid-1990s and the barn converted into six unit holiday home after mainstay farmer Arthur Peel retired and sold up.
The Fine and Country website states:

The farmhouse featured in Emmerdale until the early 1990s when it was written out of the series with a subsidence storyline. The original Emmerdale Farm series, devised by Kevin Laffan, revolved around widower Annie Sugden, actress Shelia Mercier, and her family. Other stories focused on the nearby village of Beckindale and the Woolpack pub.
