Sky Atlantic picks up UK rights to The Borgias

Sky Atlantic has picked up the UK rights to Showtime’s new historical drama The Borgias.

 

Sky Atlantic has picked up the UK rights to Showtime’s new historical drama The Borgias. The drama is Showtime’s successor to The Tudors which concluded after four seasons charting the reign of Henry VIII (Jonathan Rhys-Meyer). The Borgias is set in Renaissance Italy and follows the notorious and criminal Borgia family. The drama stars Jeremy Irons, Holliday Grainger, Derek Jacobi, Ruta Gedmintas and Colm Feore. It will air on Sky Atlantic over the Summer.
