Fifth season of Mad Men ordered

AMC has ordered a fifth season if its lavish 1960s advertising drama Mad Men.

 

AMC has ordered a fifth season if its lavish 1960s advertising drama Mad Men. The drama which stars John Hamm, January Jones, Elisabeth Moss, Christina Hendricks and John Slattery was widely expected to be renewed – however, talks over its renewal did take their time. No production date or premier date has yet been announced for the fifth season of Mad Men.

 

In the UK the first four seasons of Mad Men have aired on BBC Four with repeats on BBC Two. However, the fifth season will air on the soon to launch Sky Atlantic. The new channel from broadcaster BSkyB is an attempt at rivalling the BBC in terms of high quality drama.
