Guess what comes out on DVD today here in the UK….the second season of CW’s delicious The Vampire Diaries. So everyone knows that vampires are hot and vampire equals bums on seats in theatre’s (Twilight saga) and ratings for television shows (True Blood and The Vampire Diaries). Luckily for UK fans the second season of The CW’s teeny drama The Vampire Diaries is out on DVD today. Don’t let the teen-drama tag put you off if you haven’t already fallen in love with the residents of Mystic Falls; the series is bloody good. It also had a very good looking cast, which admittedly is a must for any vampire show these days, with Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley and Zach Roerig amongst the male talent. And for those wondering about the female cast its led by Nina Dobrev and Candice Accola.

For those who have yet to see season one it just happens the Season One & Two boxset is out too – so there’s no excuse really for not getting into The Vampire Diaries before it returns to ITV2 for a third season later this year!
