Cheryl Cole turns down Britain's Got Talent
{jcomments on}Former X Factor judge Cheryl Cole has reportedly turned down the chance to join Britain’s Got Talent.
Earlier this week it was revealed that stand-up comedian Michael McIntyre had quit the talent contest after just one series. Obviously media attention has already turned towards McIntyre’s replacement with Cole’s quickly being tipped by the press. However, the former X Factor judge has reportedly turned down an offer to replace McIntyre.
“There’s no way she will do Britain’s Got Talent. She thinks it’s all a massive joke. Why on earth would she do that show when she turned down The X Factor?” – A “friend” of Cole’s quoted in The Sun.
A question mark hangs over the future of David Hasselhoff who also joined the judging panel of Britain’s Got Talent for its most recent series. Hasselhoff and McIntyre were drafted in to replace Piers Morgan and Simon Cowell which left Amanda Holden as the only original judge left on the panel. Media reports over the summers claimed producers felt Hasselhoff hadn’t worked as a judge and were seeking to replace him.
