Cheryl Ladd to appear in Chuck

Actress Cheryl Ladd is to guest star in the fifth and final series of Chuck

TVLine and The Hollywood Reporter revealed the actresses appearance in the NBC spy/comedy series. She will play the mother of Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) and will appear in an episode in January. Ladd is probably still best remembered for her role of Kris Munroe in the original series of Charlie’s Angels. The actress joined the detective drama in the second season as a replacement for Farrah Fawcett and she remained with Charlie’s Angels until it was cancelled after five seasons. Her more recent roles have included Las Vegas and CSI Miami. The showrunners of ABC’s revived and rebooted Charlie’s Angels have hinted they are prepared to back original cast members – perhaps in guest roles though – once the new series has established itself more.
