Frankie Cocozza axed from the X Factor

Frankie Cocozza has reportedly been axed from The X Factor.

The controversial contestant is said to have been kicked off the ITV series after breaking a “golden rule”. Cocozza was favourite to exit the competition in Sunday night’s double elimination but he survived with boy-band The Risk and singer Johnny Robinson leaving instead. Reports state that Cocozza was asked to leave the X Factor house this morning and is said to be “devastated”. As yet it unknown how Cocozza’s exit will affect the format of the X Factor – whether previous acts will be brought back to fill the gap or if the show will continue with its current acts without any replacement.
