Dancing On Ice: Beth Tweddle wins Dancing On Ice 2013

DOI BethBeth Tweddle and Daniel Whiston take the Dancing on Ice 2013 crown.

Tweddle looked overwhelmed when presenter Phillip Schofield announced she and Dan had won and when asked how she felt she replied “speechless”. This is a historic win for Dan who took first place in the very first series with Gaynor Faye and later with Hayley Tamaddon in 2010.

Runner up tonight was former EastEnders actor Matt Lapinskas and his dance partner Brianne Delcourt. Gracious in defeat he thanked everyone who had voted and congratulated Beth on her win.

Olympic boxer Luke Campbell was the first act tonight to leave the competition. He had been paired with professional dancing partner Jenna Nicole Smith for the series but according the bookmakers had little chance of taking the Dancing on Ice crown.

Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean performed a brand new version of their Bolero routine which was followed by Beth and Matt’s own Bolero performances.
