I’m A Celebrity : Shaun and Lembit receive medical treatment

Shaun Ryder and Lembit Opik have received medical treatment after being bitten by a snake.

Lembit and Shaun were taking part in an overnight challenge along with Stacey Solomon and Dom Joly who were taking part in Hell Hole in order to win immunity from the first jungle eviction. Two boxes were brought in the celebrities had to put their hand in to find five keys which were attached to springs and screws.

Lembit was first to be attacked by the snake. He said “The other box was a different story,” he said. “I didn’t realise at first what it was, I thought it was a rubber mass at the bottom. It turned out to be a snake. I got four keys and while I was looking for the final one I got attacked.” Lembit managed to get all five keys.

 

Shaun was next, with the snake wrapped itself around his hand, at which point the rangers came in and removed the snakes. Ryder said afterwards “Alright. It’s a bite, a snake bite. If that weren’t someone’s animal I would have f***ing smashed it!It was like sticking your hand through a sheet of glass and it wouldn’t let go.”

Sheryl Gascoigne became the first celebrity to be evicted from the show.
