Marc Cherry, creator of Desperate Housewives, is developing a new drama for ABC.
Marc Cherry, creator of Desperate Housewives, is developing a new drama for ABC. According to Variety the new drama, Hallelujah, centres on a small town which ‘finds itself being torn apart by the forces of good and evil’ but things improve for the residents of the town when a stranger arrives ‘looking to bring justice, peace and a little bit of faith’.
As yet ABC has only signed a script deal for Hallelujah and hasn’t ordered a pilot but given its lack of success this year in finding a hit new drama and Cherry’s success with Desperate Housewives its hard to see why the broadcaster wouldn’t order a series.
