The first episode of the revived Upstairs Downstairs aired on BBC One tonight the likes of Keeley Hawes, Eileen Atkins and Ed Stoppard taking residence at 165 Eaton Place – formerly home to the Bellamy family. There were plenty of nods to the past with references to Richard Bellamy and Mr Hudson, the familiar theme tune and, of course, Jean Marsh reprising her role of Rose Buck.
But what did you think of this new Upstairs Downstairs? Is it a worthy successor to the original LWT series or did it fall short of your expectations? Post your comments below.
