CBS has renewed its rating giant NCIS for a ninth season just a day after the investigative drama pulled a massive 23 million viewers.

 

CBS has renewed its rating giant NCIS for a ninth season just a day after the investigative drama pulled a massive 23 million viewers. Given the recent strong performance of NCIS it’s hardly surprising that CBS has renewed it for a ninth year. If there was a stumbling block over its renewal it was the fact that leading actor Mark Harmon’s contract expires in May. However, CBS has announced with the renewal of NCIS that Harmon has signed a new two-year contract.
