The CW has revealed veteran superman drama Smallville will bow out, after ten years, with a two-hour finale.

 

The CW has revealed veteran superman drama Smallville will bow out, after ten years, with a two-hour finale. The broadcaster has also revealed the finale will air on May 13th – giving fans of the drama a final date for the series.

The CW re-commissioned Smallville for a tenth and final season last year though at the time there were rumours of the possibility of a spin-off or further television movies. However, then speculation shifted to the broadcaster looking for a new comic series as a successor to Smallville.
