Cheryl Cole edited out of American X Factor?

{jcomments on}A tabloid newspaper has claimed that Cheryl Cole is to be edited out of the American version of the  X Factor.

Cole was a judge on the American version for a week before being replaced as producers feared contestants were struggling to understand her accent. In the months leading up to Cole’s role on the panel there were conflicting reports in the press, almost on a daily basis, over whether she’d be in the American version or not. Her departure from the X Factor in America so quickly was widely seen as a huge blow for the singer.

Now it has emerged her the auditions recorded with Cole may be edited out – that’s according to The Mirror. The paper claims a new trailer released to promote the series, which doesn’t feature Cole, means she’s been edited out. A “source” told the tabloid “This really is a slap in the face for Cheryl. It shows that bosses are keen to forget about her ever being on the panel. If she does feature it will be a blink-and-you-miss-it feature. Most Americans will believe Nicole was always a judge.”.
