Torchwood loses more viewers
{jcomments on}The latest episode of Torchwood: Miracle Day – Escape to L.A – lost more viewers on Thursday evening on BBC One.
The fourth episode of the new ten-part drama dropped below 4 million viewers on BBC One at 9pm. However, the series has picked up additional ratings via time-shift viewers and those who download episodes on the BBC iPlayer service. Last night’s episode was seen by 3.9 million viewers but that figure is likely to rise somewhat when final figures – which take into account time-shift viewing – are released in ten days time.
Despite dropping below 4 million viewers Torchwood once again won its slot beating Single Handed on ITV1 which had 2.7 million viewers. Sky One’s new comedy/drama Trollied, starring Jane Horrocks, launched with an impressive 1.1 million viewers at 9pm. The second episode at 9.30pm had just under 1 million viewers.
