Xtra Factor host tips girls’ category as one to watch
New Xtra Factor host Olly Murs has given his thoughts on the new series of The X FactorOlly Murs, who came second in 2009 on the show, will now be presenting the ITV2 spin-off show with Caroline Flack. He has said that he thinks the girls’ category is the one to watch this year. Last year the competition was won by Matt Cardle, who was part of Dannii Minogue’s boys category.
Asked about whether any acts had stood out for him this year, he said: “I’ve definitely seen a handful of people that could go on to win the show but it’s too early to single people out this early in the competition. I think that the girls’ category is the one to watch this year though.”
