Merlin: A Servant of Two Masters Ratings
Ratings for the latest episode of Merlin were down on last week thanks to Bonfire Night.
The BBC One fantasy drama suffered slightly from fireworks as families headed outside, to brave the cold, for the annual celebration. A Servant of Two Masters featured Merlin (Colin Morgan) try to kill King Arthur (Bradley James) after wicked Morgana (Kate McGrath) used ancient magic on the warlock. The episode was seen by 5.3 million viewers which, as said, is down a little on the 5.9 million who watched last week’s episode. As ever though its important to remember that overnight ratings offer only a snapshot and final figures also see ratings rise.
As for the two entertainment shows of the evening Strictly Come Dancing fell behind the X Factor which bounced back after last week’s fall. Strictly was seen by 9.1 million viewers while the X Factor had 9.9 million viewers.
