Merlin: The Secret Sharer ratings

Ratings for the latest episode of Merlin reveal audiences levels once again rose while X Factor once again dominated though last night’s episode was delayed by ‘technical’ issues.

The Secret Sharer saw a slight rise in figures compared to the previous week up to 5.4 million. That figure will rise farther when final ratings are released in ten days time. Final ratings taken into account the actual broadcast time of the time – not the scheduled time – and those who recorded and watched within seven days.

Merlin was the fourth most watched programme of Saturday evening. The X Factor was top with 10.9 million viewers though last night’s broadcast was delayed due to “technical difficulties”. While the problems were being resolved “highlights” of this year’s auditions were played out instead….did anyone really notice the difference? Strictly Come Dancing on BBC One waltzed on with 10.2 million viewers while the third most watched programme of the day was Football and England’s victory over Spain which had 6.6 million viewers with a peak of 8.8 million.
