NBC orders Hannibal series

NBCBryan Fuller’s Hannibal project has just been handed a series order by NBC.

The broadcaster has ordered a direct-to-series order of Fuller’s Hannibal project which is based on Thomas Harris’ classic serial killer. NBC has ordered a 13 part series of the one-hour drama. The project will feature the character of  FBI agent Will Graham, according to Entertainment Weekly, instead of Clarice Starling from Silence of the Lambs.

As yet casting is yet to take place; so there’s no word on just who’ll be playing Hannibal in the television series. The project is just one of several that Bryan Fuller is currently working on with his other NBC pilot, Munsters reboot Mockingbird Lane, having recently been delayed by NBC.
